Another Successful "Back To School" Day
The Back to School Fair August 9 was a great success. The day was beautiful. A line of anxious parents and students started forming at 3:30 a.m. Volunteers worked under canopies set up in the upper parking lot. 1,210 filled backpacks were given out. In addition, each elementary student received a lunch box and middle and high school students received a $20 gift card. There were clowns, jugglers, popcorn, hot dogs, snow cones, Moonwalk, story time and more. Vans shuttled volunteers and families back and forth from parking at Elkins Road Middle School. Special thanks to North Point Community Church, DataScan, Roswell United Methodist, Crabapple First Baptist, National Charity League, Young Men's Service League and many, many others who donated and volunteered and brought smiles to the children.
