On Saturday, May 10, 2008 the National Assoc. of Letter Carriers is sponsoring the 16th annual Stamp Out Hunger national food drive. This is our nation's largest single-day food drive. Last year's Stamp Out Hunger food drive collected 70.7 million pounds of food in the US (NFCC received 16 tons!).

This drive helps NFCC fill food requests throughout the lean summer months. Participation is easy! Just leave non-perishable foods, such as canned vegetables, fruit, pasta or cereal in a sturdy bag next to your mailbox prior to the time of regular mail delivery that morning.
