Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to North Fulton Community Charities. Our small staff depends on volunteers to carry out our mission of providing emergency assistance to residents of North Fulton.
We welcome men, women and teens ages 13 years and older who are interested in volunteering. Teens age 13-15 years must be accompanied by an adult.
The following guidelines must be met.
- A Liability Release form must be executed prior to volunteering. The Release form for volunteers under 18 must be signed by a parent or guardian

- Appropriate attire is casual dress.
- Closed toed shoes are required.
- Short shorts, bare midriffs and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
- Volunteers are asked to serve a minimum two hour shift.
Volunteer hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 9:00-5:00, Tuesdays 9:00-7:30 and Saturdays 9:30-5:00. Please be aware that space is limited and we cannot always accommodate drop-in volunteers.
Service project ideas for off-site participation and for younger children are available upon request.

Community Service
Volunteer Community Service
NFCC provides on-site opportunities for individuals to fulfill community service requirements for school clubs, scouting, and church groups. The minimum age is 13 years. Teens aged 13-15 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The above guidelines and hours apply. Release forms for all group members must be on file prior to volunteering (signed by parent or guardian if under 18). Court Mandated Community Service
North Fulton Community Charities is an approved work site for Court Mandated Community Service. Service hours will be completed in the Thrift Shop.
Volunteer hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 9:00-5:00, Tuesdays 9:00-7:30 and Saturdays 9:30-5:00. Please be aware that space is limited and we cannot always accommodate additional volunteers. In addition to the guidelines listed above: Court Mandated Community Service workers must work a minimum of four (4) hours.
